Scale : Tactical.
Swedish Deployment : The Swedish force is deployed in the area indicated on the map in boats. Each element is considered to be in its own boat. The artillery represents guns mounted on Swedish frigates (firing at medium range) which are ‘off-table’ and cannot be targeted.
Danish Deployment : The Danish infantry deploy in the village and earthworks. The cavalry deploy anywhere within their deployment area. The Danes take the first turn.
Special Rules : Landing boats should be represented by appropriate models or pieces of card, these can be targeted by the defender, hits on boats will correspond to hits on the units carried. All boats move every turn 1d6 inches (no command cost). Boats that make contact with the beach will discourage their passengers (which will count as disordered.
Outcome : Charles personally led his guards against the Danish entrenchments which withdrew thus allowing the rest of his force to land safely.
